2.4.2026 Short story + Ko Fi

Greetings my fellow citizens!

I have written a short story about our beloved bull Chet! It has the title "Fatal Appetite."

It follows Chet through his day after work so we can see the world of Coreline through his perspective.

I also set up a Ko fi where the story will be available for FREE!!!

But if you want to, you could still buy Nox a coffee :)

Consider following me on Ko Fi to not miss out any exclusive content!

Special Christmas story! 12/17/2025

Nox brushed some falling snow off his coat.

"I can't believe they activated the snow-weathering system. The last snow-flush was 3 years ago."

His paw shot into his fold, grasping a peppermint candy, still warm from his pocket.

"Some mint? "

"Thanks"

Zee flicked it into her mouth.

"It's nice to see Coreline in some Christmas spirit again."

The atmosphere was loud, the place was crowded.

Snow coated Coreline’s layers.

"Christmas is a time when I think people might actually not be all that bad."

The stall keeper across them, a penguin, handed Nox a steam swirling crepe.

"Thanks! Does Miss Whiskers wish to have one as well?"

Zee lurked at him, head tilted, ear twitching.

"Asking kindly- fox-boy?"

The bright Christmas lights painted a colorful silhouette around her frame.

"Madam Whiskers accepts your offer. But without the chocolate."

He threw a thumb toward Zee.

"You heard the lady."

His gaze darted back at her, paw dramatically over his heart.

"Without the chocolate? Come on, that's like Christmas without a tree!"

Zee chuckled, adjusting her glasses as they reflected glimpses of light.

"Says the fox that uses the same old plastic tree for the fifth year now."

Nox smirked, handing the shopkeeper the credits for the crepes.

"Hey, I said without a tree - not wood!"

The penguin delivered the second meal.

“Here, madam-cat! Your Crepe. Come again!”

 He waved them off.

Nox threw a fingergun toward the penguin, winking.

“Keep your chin up! “

The penguin slightly furrowed a brow when Nox quickly turned. Taking Zee by her sleeve, Nox dragged her along through the snow.

“Wait…Do penguins have chins?”

She gently nudges his side.

“Of course.”

They pushed through crowds, enjoying their day.

Nox lost a bet and had to perform a snow angle, revealing a yellow patch beneath.

Zee pointed out a reindeer walking past, its nose painted red.

The scenery was inviting, with Christmas stalls lining the streets.

They drank mulled wine and ate gingerbread until they came across a colorful Christmas tree.

Presents scattered below, beautifully wrapped - red and green.

Through the gentle snowfall, Zee began shivering.

“Hey ehr…

Want some?”

Nox lifted his scarf, tail slowly swaying.

Zee blinked, then quickly nodded.

“Y-yeah, it-it's colder than I expected.”

He gently wrapped a patch of scarf around them.

“Heh, now we’re connected like a coffee and a Monday morning.”

Her lips lingered a smile. By now, they stood face to face. Uttering a smirk Nox’s nose jerked up.

The air smelled of fir.

“All this happy mood…

Makes one forget that we live inside a concrete cardhouse with no end.

Yet I enjoy the atmosphere."

Zee shifted, her bright emerald eyes shining like diamonds, reflecting as if a lighthouse shone through them.

“It's nice to hear something positive from you once in a while.

”She loosely took him by the hand, ears flattened.

Nox twitched, tail puffing up.

Both their eyes gleamed with Christmastime spirit as they slowly darted upward.

Dangling between all the light and commotion... A Mistletoe.

Update 11/27/2025

I create this cool cyberpunk-like art of Nox using the Commission from Fallerium! It looks awesome, right?

In addition l worked on the book and shortened some passages to tighten the pace and enhance the reading experience.

Update 11/19/2025

My try to add some Cyber to the punk :D

"All sorts of animals walked by here, from large Hippos to small weasels. Most were still natural, but some had cybernetic implants, either to upgrade their existence, like the advertisements overhead promoted, or because they had lost a limb or a claw in former accidents. At the nearest food stall, a tiger with a bionic tail stood waiting. His tail, stronger, more durable, fulfilled all the practices a natural did. No, it exceeded them all. A couple of meters further, a snowy owl with half of its beak metal intimately leaned against a stall. It spoke with a coyote that had a cybernetic eye. Usually, they have high-quality vision and fast reaction times, though the scar on his eyelid tells us that his eye probably had to be replaced. The cybernetic eye seemed of poor quality; the green glow was weak and blinked infrequently. That's the bad part about the cybernetic world: get a fake or badly maintained upgrade and basically screw yourself over with a malfunctioning body "

I will add sprinkles of this all round the story - overhaul characters and conversations, interactions and environments ONCE AGAIN Yeaaahaa.

but that is the cool part abt writing- see your story and environment change over the time ^^

& because I love you guys here some eye candy.

Like shadow through night,

a force full of might,

shine darkness with light,

the monsters to fight,

and danger to kite.

So run little one run of in quick flight,

So misused by worlds,

and abused unright,

Now, dash out of sight ,

in to sunlight,

let it shine bright,

on your sore fur in plight

brought us the weight of our own words

bought off the guilt,

thought us what hurt.

I AM ALIVE ! Update 11.11.2025

Hey, glad to tell you that I'm back! Working on the Lore of Coreline - one could say I work on Lorecine! I am super impressed by the sudden progress and new ideas that I've got. Taking the weekend really helped me focus on myself, and therefore, I've been getting new and better ideas! Most of the plot holes that I have struggled to fill have led me to understand what was needed! I'm not sure if I should post it or not because it’s an explanation for the whole story so far and ALL the past lore of Coreline ALL conflicts, and how the City even evolved to grow the way it did, with MAYOR spoilers. SUUUUUUUUUUUUUPER interesting and SO much COOL lore... stuff that's super cool to know, but not like explained in the book, because for time reasons ... one without spoilers would be this:

Growing labs Now you might be wondering, where do wood, fruit, or herbs come from... In a city that is completely concrete? Good question, so there are these so-called “growing labs” Here, for example, wood can be grown at 100x the speed. Genetically manipulated to take in minerals way faster, it can extend its normal growth too. This, however, came at the cost of a lifetime. This wood often starts to mold after a few years, especially if it's exposed to moisture. The life expectancy is about 7 years for a single wooden plank. That's why the city is built entirely with stone or steel and why most of the wood is moldy or of poor quality.
